Donna Jaegers, RN

Donna was asked to coordinate a complicated transfer of a very ill heart transplant patient to Los Angeles. Despite numerous other demands on her on this busy ER day, she worked tirelessly with the medical team at San Martin as well as the California transplant team to coordinate this transfer. She stayed many hours past her shift end time as she searched every possibility for air transport, which unfortunately we would not obtain. She did not get flustered and remained the utmost professional despite all the roadblocks. Her actions and attitude exemplify the qualities we strive for in healthcare – compassion, dedication, and a deep commitment to the well-being of our patients. Thank you, Donna!
