I brought my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's and dementia into the ER. Donna was the nurse in triage, she was wonderful. She knew exactly what to say and do to get my mother to engage with her. My mother was so at ease with her, she was able to answer some questions, talk to her and smile, which she usually does not do with strangers. Donna took the time and patience with my mother which showed me that she really cared about her, and my mother knew this also. It is really good to know that if I have to come back to the ER, Donna is the first person I will meet. She is great and is very much appreciated.
