Donna Margolis, RN

Donna Margolis, a nurse in the Labor and Delivery department, was an absolute angel throughout our journey. Her kindness and genuine care made all the difference during such a pivotal moment in our lives. Not only did she provide exceptional care for me and our newborn, but she also went above and beyond to ensure our 5-year-old felt involved and excited about becoming a big sibling. One of our concerns with adding a new baby into our home is making sure that our oldest feels like he's not forgotten and is loved. Without us even asking, Donna allowed him to hear his baby brother's heartbeat and let him be involved in her routine checks. This was a heartwarming gesture that brought so much joy to our family and something my son still talks about.
What truly set Donna apart was her remarkable ability to make us feel understood and supported without an ounce of judgment. Even when offering advice, she did so with the utmost respect and compassion, creating a safe and nurturing environment for us. This is our second child, so despite having experienced the wonderful care of other nurses in the past, Donna's genuine warmth, friendliness, and competence made her stand out as our favorite. She had a way of making our stay feel like we were among friends, easing any discomfort and making the entire experience so much more enjoyable. On top of that, it's very clear that Donna knew what she was doing when it came to providing actual care.
Donna truly embodies what it means to be an exceptional caregiver, and we are forever grateful for her presence during such a special time in our lives.
