Donna did great on asking to speak with the member right away. The member sounded weak and confused. She thanked the daughter for trying to have him speak with her. She asked for his baseline/average glucose level and his baseline daily activities/energy level. She immediately recognized the emergent situation and consulted the CCMD appropriately. She showed concern about how the daughter is taking the member to the hospital and gave CFI. This call is an excellent triage provided by an excellent nurse!
