Donna took extraordinary care of my son. Her level of personal skills and nursing combined allowed me to comfortably leave my son in her care, to leave the CICU - something I don't usually do - to eat, make phone calls, etc. I came back from lunch to find her sitting beside his crib, making pirate hats and talking like a pirate. It's so hard to let go for even a moment when your child is ill - she is a blessing and an asset to the CICU. Donna was extremely supportive to our family even with my neurotic questions. Her extensive intelligence and experience were obvious.
