January 2026 Honoree
Donna Miller 2026, RN
The patient came in to register with me for an MRI. His appointment was rescheduled, and the patient was not aware. I called scheduling for the patient to get him situated and rescheduled because I could not actually find his appointment after the scheduler assisted the patient. He broke down crying at my desk. I tried to console him the best I could, but we had a lobby full of patients. He wanted to speak with someone. I tried calling for the chaplain, but they were not available, so I called the house supervisor. She is always willing to go above and beyond her role. She's always willing to assist wherever needed when any of her coworkers, including myself, are in need of something, even if we don't know we are in need, she can tell, and she comes to assist.
Back to the patient: Donna came down and took the patient into the chapel and gave the patient the time that he needed. I believe he needed an Uber, which she assisted him with as well. Donna should be recognized.

Thank you, Donna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
