She offered comfort during initial intake moments. She did for me what I couldn’t do for myself by placing me on a hold. This more than likely saved my life, ensuring that I couldn’t leave and give up. She then followed back up with me on my last day. Again, letting me know that I am not alone and that she truly cares. Donna made me feel like my life truly mattered. She showed me empathy when many had none. She had much compassion for me. She is truly made to be a nurse. My outcome wouldn’t be what it was without her. Thank you so much, Donna. I’ll keep on keeping on.
