Donna Nolan 2022, RN

Donna did a wonderful job caring for my Dad. He is 86 and with every day in the hospital, he becomes more delirious (off and on) and cantankerous. Donna was empathetic toward him and paid attention proactively to his needs and his requests. Donna saw him struggling with some routine tasks and took it upon herself to help mitigate this. Donna helped him shave and found a better tool to do it. She brushed his hair so he felt a little more put together. She found and offered a treat that worked with his diet and she helped him eat when he was unable to feed himself and his family wasn't around. Donna proactively checked to see if Dad needed to be changed. She talked him down from his outbursts and made every effort to keep family members updated on his progress. Donna gave him eye drops and ensured he got his meds.
