The wife of a patient who had recently passed called Donna to share some information and communicate at that time that she was having some difficulty gathering a suitcase and special clothing to wear to her husband's funeral. She stated that it had been years since she had a new outfit. Donna took it upon herself to contact a local vendor who allowed her to take several outfits to the wife's home so she would be able to conserve her energy and try on some new clothes. Donna assisted the wife to pick out her outfits, pack her bag, and even helped with meals. The wife was incredibly grateful and encouraged by Donna's kindness. Donna does things like this that impact our patients' lives quite regularly by being willing to engage and serve our patients and communities. Thank you, Donna, for your kind and generous services.
