Donna is the most dedicated nurse and boss I've ever worked with. Donna loves her patients from her heart, all 500 of them. She genuinely loves all the nurses and volunteers. Donna celebrates all our birthdays, including patients. Everyone gets a birthday card and we all sing Happy Birthday to whoever is having a birthday.
When a patient passes Donna makes sure the family of the deceased gets a sympathy card from CHF. Every nurse and volunteer signs and leaves their best words of encouragement and sympathy. Donna keeps a "Wall of Deceased" in our nurse's office so that we never forget our patients.
All the love we give, all the patience we show our patients, every hug, every prayer, every tear we shed has come from our beloved Director of CHF, Donna Parker's teaching. She leads by example and is one of a kind. On her worst day, she is still the best. We are a family at CHF and Donna is our loving leader.
