Each day, Donna rounds with all patients and staff members, calls physicians regarding dialysis-related or other concerns, resolves patient and staff issues, and thoroughly addresses any questions patients may have. She personally calls each patient frequently during hospitalizations to encourage them and see if they need anything. She also personally calls any patient who misses treatments, which has consistently kept her facility’s missed treatment percentage under 4% each month, and it is currently at 1.7%.

Donna ensures open communication with all physicians and staff, fostering a strong team mentality focused on patient care through her unique, individualized touch. By maintaining consistency in her approach and coaching her team with compassion and accountability, she has transformed a facility with outcomes in the 40s into one consistently performing in the high 70s and 80s for over a year.
