Donna Reichert 2, RN

Donna showed exemplary care and compassion for the family members of a critical patient. As we were coding the patient in our trauma room, Donna comforted the family in the waiting room. She brought the family to the room as we were doing CPR and stood with them, praying out loud. She found someone to watch the patient’s 2-year-old son as she stayed with the family at bedside to comfort them. Donna exemplifies loving, integritous, and spiritual care for this patient’s family in the midst of a very traumatic time.
