Donna St. Hilaire, RN

My mother had a car accident while on vacation from Florida and was brought to GFH by ambulance. By the time I arrived from Florida the next day, Donna had already begun the process of “what’s next”. She worked with us on finding and getting my mom admitted to a facility back home in Florida. She then coordinated our discharge time so we could catch our flight from Albany to Florida. From making sure the meds were ready to having my mom dressed and ready to go- she had the whole team on the floor helping for a successful departure. Donna had the test results sent to Mom’s doctor back home so we could coordinate follow-up care in Florida. My whole family is beyond appreciative of everything she did to make a very stressful situation easier. It’s my pleasure to nominate Donna on behalf of our family.
