A patient recognized Donna for taking extra time on two different admissions to work directly with her husband to help him understand the process of addiction and the important role he played in his wife's recovery. Patients over and over again stated that Donna allowed them to voice their traumas and that she made them feel a lot safer and stronger. Donna excels in her compassionate care and extraordinary ability to guide some of the most fragile patients through the steps of recovery.
