Donna has been the enterostomal nurse at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for 30 years. She has demonstrated dedication to nursing and Ostomy and wound patients throughout her career; She is an excellent resource about ostomy care for patients and nurses; She advocates for education for patients and their families, not only locally, but nationally as the President of the Canadian Association of Enterostomal Therapists (CAET). Globally Donna contributed to the enterostomal knowledge while a board member of the World Council of Enterostomal Therapy.

She has dedicated her career to improving patient quality of life while consistently demonstrating compassion and empathy.
