I just want to take a moment to praise your team. My son had Adductor Release Surgery and a bilateral petrie boot cast was positioned on him for a minimum of six weeks. We spent the evening after the surgery and though the day and night was a long and heartbreaking experience for me as mommy it was positively an excruciating and agonizing experience for my 3 year old baby boy. This little guy who barely utters a word managed to whimper cries of ‘why mommy’ and ‘it hurts’ with flowing tears and screams. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised and in awe of Megan who was there upon admit and Donna who attended us through the evening. We were fortunate to receive Megan again the following day.
Megan and Donna are just what parents need, not only were they there to aid in comforting my precious little one but they were also my counselors. They were there when I felt the need to call upon Dr. B and have him reverse the procedure, there when I cried uncontrollably because my baby was in severe agony and there to make me recognize that it can only get better and that I am doing this for him and for his quality of life. Without them I would have been unreasonable therefore I am taking this time to inform you on how exceptional these two ladies are and please give them the recognition that they deserve. They did this for us without knowing us therefore I am confident that they offer this same tenderness to everyone.
