My surgery was unplanned and being in Santa Rosa (away from my home in Sacramento) made it all the more daunting. Dorella Gill made me feel like I was her most important patient and that I was someone she had known. She, by the nature of her personality and the application of her professionalism, made me feel confident and completely cared for. She clearly is a “take charge” lady who knows what to do in all circumstances, and yet she is able to mix in humor and genuine human caring at just the right time, and in the right amounts. She is truly an outstanding representation of the nursing profession.
