Dori McCourry, RN

Dori McCourry was nominated by a medical provider in the ambulatory setting who observed care being provided by Dori to a Veteran. A Veteran was experiencing extreme anxiety due to COVID fears and was unable to show up to a radiology appointment. Dori took the time to walk down to radiology, share the Veteran's concerns and coordinated the appointment during a slower time to meet the needs of the Veteran. The provider stated "Dori sets a huge example for others to follow, her advocacy with this Veteran was above and beyond her daily duties".
