Doris entered the room to diffuse a negative situation regarding my medical care. She was one of the most compassionate staff members I've ever met (not just in Crescent City, but in life in general). She went above and beyond her duties. She went as far as rubbing my back and sympathizing with me. I loved having her in my presence so much that I cried when she had to go on to her next patient. Nonetheless, she continued to check on me. She is extremely compassionate and deserves to be recognized.

Doris made me feel calm when I was nervous, and safe and cared for when I was scared. She explained everything perfectly to me. She even listened when I needed to talk whether it was serious or not, and helped me explain things to the doctor correctly. I could tell that she really cared for others' well-being and wanted to make sure they were comfortable. I feel blessed that she was my nurse during my stay here at Sutter Coast Hospital. Thank you, Doris, for all that you did for me.
