I am a patient that came in for the removal of a kidney stone. I was very fortunate to have Doris as my RN. In fact, this is the second time I've been fortunate to have her as a caregiver. Approximately four years ago, I came in for a same day surgery that extended to an 8-week stay. I was fortunate to have Doris then and now. Every caregiver here has outstanding skills but it seems Doris always makes the extra effort to make sure I'm comfortable. Today surgery was, although minor, still a big deal for me, especially after the problems I had from the last one. Doris did a great job of alleviating any fears or concerns I had, as well as using her skills as a nurse to ensure that I was ready for my surgery physically and emotionally.
