Doris Oberholtzer, BSN, RN

Doris Oberholtzer was my nurse after I came to the floor with a diagnosis of small bowel obstruction, and I was in some pain and dealing with an NG tube. I immediately sensed that this nurse was very professional & knowledgeable but also kind and compassionate. I could see that she worked as a team member, was respectful of her co-workers, and was always willing to help.

No matter how busy the unit was, she was always calm. She also was good at working with the student nurses, taking time to demonstrate and explain the skills she was doing. She always entered my room with a warm smile, in the midst of some of my challenging days. She was my cheerleader for sure and I was blessed to have her as one of my nurses.
