Dorothy Jones, RN, Women and Infants’ Center, recently received a DAISY Award for her compassionate care of a new mom, her husband, and their newborn during the baby’s stay in the neonatal care unit: “Dorothy made sure we knew everything that had transpired with our son, answered all of our questions in a way we could understand, and provided me with so much motivation to hold my chin up,” wrote the patient in her nomination letter.
