My husband was Doug's patient, and he not only worked hard to keep him comfortable and alive but he did what he could to be a comfort to the family. Even when he was busy, he made us feel important and never let us feel as if we were in the way. Doug was right there with us when my husband passed helping us through it. He quietly and slowly blended into the background. I’m thankful that Doug was my husband’s nurse.
