I was cared for by a very kind, helpful, caring and compassionate individual. I cannot begin to explain to you how "over and beyond" Doug would go to make sure I was properly cared for and most importantly, comfortable. He would explain any medications he was giving to me. If I was unable to comprehend, he would explain to my family. Doug would even check in on us from time to time, for no real reason, which makes a patient feel very cared for.
Not only did he take wonderful care of me, but he was also kind and caring to my family, which means a lot when you have your mother staying overnight, sleeping on a loveseat or in the recliner. He made sure she had the necessary pillows, blankets, beverages, etc.
I want to give Doug a big huge shout out for everything he did for me during my stay. Because of his kindness and caring actions, I am feeling much better today. I do appreciate everything Doug did for me and just cannot thank him enough.
