Doug Giroux, RN

Recently, my 32-year-old friend had a very unexpected cardiac arrest related to lymphocytic myocarditis. She was subsequently placed on impella and ECMO. Doug Giroux was not even working that day, but knowing how much my friend means to me, he came in to work without hesitation. Doug is the kind of nurse that everyone wants to work with because he is so knowledgeable and helpful. He never shies away from a patient in need and is always a great help to his coworkers. His leadership skills are highly admired by our CTICU team.
