Doug is the type of nurse that a patient dreams about. When being admitted to a rehab, as a patient you are nervous about what to expect. Upon admission, Doug greeted me and was calm and collected. Doug was so knowledgeable and calm. He had a great bedside manner- patient and ease with the care I received. At first glance, you would think of Doug as the family member you never had. Doug is so much more than that. He is kind, gentle and patient. He has a bedside manner like no one you have ever experienced, especially at a rehab. Doug takes his time with each of his patients, allowing them to feel special and calm. Doug continues to have patients return to rehab asking for him. They come back asking for his care and I am quite certain that’s one of the main reasons they return in the first place. While we have an amazing team at our facility- Doug helps us be just that, an amazing team.
