Dr Jill Mason, Ed.D., DNAP, MSN, CRNA, APRN, COI, FAANA

Although I am a newer faculty member to AdventHealth University's Nurse Anesthesia Program, I have quickly come to appreciate the time and dedication that Dr. Jill Mason puts forth to maintain a high-functioning program. Dr. Mason has carried the nurse anesthesia program with strength and grace, especially during times of significant staff turnover. Despite these challenges, she has remained committed to providing consistently high-quality educational experiences for all students. Her resilience and leadership have not only kept the program strong but have also ensured that students continue to thrive in an environment grounded in excellence. What truly sets Dr. Mason apart is the way she supports her students academically and personally. She has consistently expressed empathy, patience, and integrity while assisting students in navigating life challenges that unfold during their education.

In short, Dr. Mason exemplifies what it means to be a role model in nursing education.
