From day one - she took care of my daughter as if she were her own. She checked on her constantly, stood in her room & listened to my daughter's worries and concerns, laughed with us, and cried with us. She and I talked about when we were younger and the things we experienced as kids/teens and my daughter just laughed at us. This nurse and I just met at the hospital, but we connected instantly. For a brief moment, my daughter wasn't thinking about the reason she was at the hospital!!! To see someone, care about your loved one so genuinely and passionately, makes your heart happy. And for a fleeting moment, your worries and troubles cease to be visible. This nurse is truly a blessing. She deserves the DAISY Award and much more. She even checked in on days when she wasn't assigned to her! What a SAINT!
