Drew Burkett, RN

After three attempts to place an IV, my attending nurse called in Drew for assistance. Drew was gracious, humble, and possessed a loving bedside manner. As he examined my veins and began to insert the IV, he asked if my family would mind if he said a prayer. Drew simply requested God's help with the procedure and to bless me - he promptly placed the IV. This was not painful; Drew was humble and exceptionally kind. He truly exemplifies BMHCC's commitment to sharing his Christian faith while caring for his patients. Throughout the day, he consistently checked in on us. My family was in and out all day; the ED Overflow was down the hall, and my family noted that Drew was everywhere, being kind and patient with each person amid the chaos.
