Although my brother’s passing was not what we had hoped for, we want to thank all the nurses and staff that cared for my brother. They all cared for him, in a very respectful caring manner. Thank you all. When given the possible outcomes by doctors, Drew was there to give us straightforward answers in a way that we (my father, sister, and I) could understand. He explained each procedure, test, and result as well. He was kind, caring, and compassionate to my brother, and with us. He gave us opportunities to ask questions about my brother’s care. He was very attentive to our needs as the support team for my brother. As a professional nurse myself, I recognized these qualities in Drew. We experienced that passion and professionalism as Drew cared for my brother. Drew, please keep that passion alive. We all need more nurses like you! Thank you.
