I came into this department with severe bleeding related to a miscarriage. I had no idea that I was pregnant and was severely scarred. D’Shara spent so much time with me, taking extra care to help clean me up multiple times. She constantly checked on me, addressing all of my needs immediately. She personally picked me up from ultrasound, again helping me change, cleaning me up, and reassuring me I was in good hands. She was always ready and prepared for what the doctor would request next, and even walked me out when I was transferred. I was extremely scared at the beginning and left feeling much more secure because of her compassionate care and consideration. She definitely encompasses the values at Loma Linda and provided me with the best bedside demeanor I have ever received at Loma Linda.
