Dunlop Ward

On behalf of my family, I would just like to say a massive thank you to the Doctors but especially the nursing staff on Dunlop Ward. My Grandmother very recently received palliative care and the nurses and the HCAs were all phenomenal. The care my Grandmother received in her final days was amazing and the staff went over and beyond to make sure my family was looked after too. They were all so caring and listened to our concerns and their kindness was so genuine. I would like this team to be formally recognised for their amazing and wonderful attitude and their dedication to their patients. They made the whole process so much easier to handle and manage. No request was too much and they treated my Grandmother with respect and dignity. They communicated promptly and efficiently and quickly attended to her needs. I happen to work for another acute NHS Trust, so I am very aware of the current climate of working under pressure. Their end of life care and support totally exceeded my expectations and that of my family as well. I would be very grateful if this message of thanks could be shared with the Matron, Ward Manager, and Staff on Dunlop. The staff on this ward really did the hospital proud with their professionalism and empathy.
