Dustin Broyles, RN

Dustin constantly demonstrates excellence by being a wonderful team player. I know it’s going to be a good shift when I come in and see him working. He is always willing to help me when I am in need, and I really appreciate that. When I first started at Encompass, Dustin always asked if I needed any help. No one really asked me that so it meant a lot that I knew I could count on him. There have been multiple times when I asked Dustin for help, and he always has a positive attitude and never acts like he has something else he could be doing. Dustin even helps us take the mattresses to the gym after we clean them. He is the best nurse I have worked with because he is a hard worker but always creates a fun environment.

I enjoy having Dustin on the floor as my charge nurse because he communicates with me about our patients. When he is my nurse, I feel like we are a team and not like I am on my own. I have also seen Dustin interact with patients and he is professional but also knows how to create an amusing conversation with them.

Overall, Dustin deserves this award for so many reasons – he works hard here at Encompass! I wanted to nominate him because I respect him most out of all our staff and I want him to feel appreciated and recognized for his extraordinary performance during each shift.
