A morning in February was a very tough and emotional time for the ED staff. There was a set of twin babies who came to our ED, in a very vulnerable, unimaginable situation. As I passed by the room, there was Dustin, quietly sitting in a chair, holding the vulnerable, underweight baby in his arms, compassionately consoling this darling, tiny baby. No one else was in the room or paying attention, but I did as it warmed my heart to see a man, always on the go, tending to hospital needs, taking time out of his day to just sit and tenderly console, showing love and compassion until the flight team arrived!!
