This is my second time at GSH in 6 weeks. The first time was for 6 days. This one has been almost 5. Last night angel Dusty arrives on shift. She was so friendly, empathic, engaged, warm, from the minute she walked into my room. My medication was delivered on time for the first time in quite a while. It was always delivered with a smile and can I get you anything. Dusty entered my bathroom for some reason and noticed I had nothing. That changed immediately. Towels, wipes, toothbrush, deodorant, everything arrived. This beautiful heart, this asset to not only her nursing staff, this floor, and your facility. She has offered me a chair, that my room came without. And everything she does, she does with a smile. Never ever let this woman leave your staff. Dusty has restored my faith in this hospital.
