My husband was brought to the hospital unresponsive. In the Emergency Department, a nurse by the name of Dusty completely took control of his care. He stayed with my husband for hours and I truly feel he saved his life. Even though we were told his organs were failing. He did not leave his bedside. He did ask a nurse to cover for him for two minutes so he could run to the bathroom.
He kept coming to our waiting area with updates every five minutes. He was the most loving caring nurse we have ever experienced.
I pray if I ever have an emergency that brings me to the hospital that he is on duty.
