My husband came to My Michigan with a brain tumor by ambulance. My husband had a biopsy of the tumor, a Shunt, a craniectomy, a trach, and a peg. My husband was at My Michigan for over 1 month.
The staff was working on trying to get my husband transferred to Ann Arbor. My husband had a setback with bleeding from a reaction with the blood thinner, and this delayed him from going. Dylan stepped up to work behind the scenes on necessary paperwork, coordinating departments to sign off, and Physical therapy to show that my husband was improving. Dylan was willing to address any questions we had, communicating all that was happening with my husband. Dylan was the reason my husband made it. The compassion and hard work Dylan displays daily as a nurse make him a true DAISY Nurse.
