Since meeting Ms. Dylann she has been nothing but great. Not only is she patient, but she is knowledgeable and efficient. We have had many nurses and, trust me, we love them all. But what we love about her is that she actually loves her career. She loves her patients and you can tell that by how she handles and takes care of my child. I feel safe and comforted to know if I left my child he would be loved and in safe hands. We stay with Cook Children's a lot lately. And if we could have her as my son's nurse all the time we would. His five-year-old brother has had to spend his daytime in the hospital with his brother and has fallen in love with Dylann and looks forward to seeing her in the mornings. And if he doesn't it is "Mom, where's that girl, the one with the orange/pink shirt?" That's what confirmed it even more for me. Dylann more than exceeds expectations. So since we can't have her every time, we are okay with sharing.
Cook Children's sure knows how to pick great, loving nurses!! And, Ms. Dylann O'Connor deserves the DAISY Award!
