May 2014 Honoree
earl hinely, RN, BSN
Earl answered my questions, counseled me as a friend twice (1/2 hour each time) about my health and how much he cared. He is the best bedside RN I've had the pleasure to know. One day before a procedure that had me crying from fear, Earl stopped the techs on my way down and hugged me and said I'd be fine and that he loved me - not inappropriately- truly friend love. He was with me whenever I needed him. He saw that all my needs were met. I felt safe with Earl. He has helped me change my outlook on my life and health. He taught me that God and I were more important than a job. He told me that my family was extremely important too.
I trust Earl with my life and the life of my family. No qualms at all. I was a RN for 10+ years. No one in my years of nursing can hold a candle to Earl Hinely. He is a wonderful, perfect example of what a nurse should be. He is someone I'll never forget. Of all the nurses I've dealt with, he is the epitome of a nurse more than worthy of the DAISY Award. He is phenomenal and an asset to WRMC.
