Earl Richards, RN

I saw this RN on the first day of my mother’s admission, and I was standing near the nursing station. I saw him and he saw me and he came running out to hug me! I was beyond happy and emotional. I worked at Venice Hospital as a recruiter and knew him well. It was obvious in just an instance that this nurse’s compassion, care and empathy showed up in full force just as when he was at Venice. He came down immediately and introduced himself to my mother.

His leadership skill transferred with him from Venice where he was a floor RN, manager and house supervisor. Not only did he take care of my mother, but I witnessed many times how he helped all the staff and patients and how he provided guidance. He never stopped. This RN is the gold bar standard when it comes to precepting new staff. He cares and he passes that amazing caring and talent to everyone he crosses. When I left at night he comforted me. I knew I left my mother in the care and arms of an angel and a great man.
