Administration received a phone call from a patient's daughter and wanted to convey the message that the daughter loves her mother. Ebby could have said "I sure will." Ebby did something very different however, Ebby told the patient's daughter to stay on the phone and she would take the phone to the patient in ICU and she can tell her the message herself. The compassion and empathy was so touching that the daughter wanted to express her appreciation. The daughter is a healthcare administrator and said this was one of the greatest acts of kindness she has ever seen or been shown.
