Recently, my wife was seen at your WakeMed Garner Emergency Department. When we got there, nurse Ebonee McConnell came into the bed area with a smile and asked what's going on dear. My wife told her she was having chest pains. Nurse McConnell jumped into action, setting up everything needed to check my wife. She really listened and told her that she was going to do everything she could to help her! I watched nurse Ebonee as she worked her magic - see the kind of magic I'm talking of is taking time, slowing down, listening to the patient and most of all CARING for the patient. Nurse Ebonee McConnell is all of the above and more.

My wife has things wrong with her but I know if we have nurses like Ebonee McConnell, my wife will get the care she needs. I am now retired and do help take care of my wonderful wife of almost 26 years. By the way, we met on a blind date, so yes she is my life! And when Ebonee came to help her a real calm came across me! You really have an "outstanding" nurse that goes beyond all and "CARES".
