Ebony has been like an intensive care nurse but on a floor setting with many other patients besides me.
I had shoulder replacement surgery yesterday. I had a rough night with little pain control. My blood sugar was extremely high this morning. She came on at 7 am and went to work getting me the care I needed. She has had to come every hour, checks my sugar, make adjustments to my insulin drip as well as giving me IV and by mouth pain medication. She has been like an intensive care nurse but on a floor setting with many other patients besides me. She gave me this care with such grace. She never made me feel like a bother all day long. I spend a lot of days in a hospital every year. She is an exceptional person as well as a nurse.
