Eddie demonstrates the qualities that the DAISY Award represents in everyday practice. He is always putting the patient's concerns first and will take as much time as possible to make the children and parents that he comes in contact with feel safe and positive about the interaction taking place. Eddie is overflowing with DAISY Award qualities. Eddie just explodes with happiness and it infects the staff within the Clinic, the patients and parents he treats daily and pretty much everyone he comes in contact with.

Since we work with children daily, I get to see first hand how great Eddie is with patients. He has the ability to make the most scared child feel calm and he explains everything he has to do and will not force the child to do anything he or she isn't comfortable doing. We have numerous patients (in fact so many I can't keep track) that request to be seen by a provider that Eddie works with, just so the patient has that comfortable feeling that they deserve.
