I have worked with Eddy her for many years. She has been a pediatric outpatient nurse in POPS and in the WSC, a pediatric Hem/Onc nurse, and a pediatric dialysis nurse. In every capacity, she has been outstanding. Her pediatric patients and their families love her. I often hear her Hem/Onc patients' families refer to Eddy as family. These patients have many clinic visits for frequent, painful procedures. Having a fun and warm nurse, who makes the effort to connect with these patients and their families and genuinely cares, is so important. It helps make the hospital and clinic a non-threatening place. Many families correspond with her and visit her. She has that effect on people! Eddy is the most altruistic and giving person I know. She is very involved in raising awareness and research money for many pediatric causes by walking for pediatric cancer, heart disease, and diabetes as a member of the Wolfson team. If there is a toy drive, a gift drive for a needy family or a soup kitchen to serve, Eddy is there. She is the best of the best. Wolfson should be very proud to call her one of their own!
