Our girls' trip to California was unfortunately complicated by a terrible event. Our best friend had a miscarriage and began to have significant bleeding. We are all nurses, so when we are scared, it's bad. Being on the whole other side of the country dealing with an emergency is terrifying, however, having Edgar come in and help make a terrible situation, tolerable. Edgar came to our friend's room after she returned from a test. He recognized her pain and instantly reacted. He helped clean our friend up and made her feel so comfortable. He continued to comfort her and tell her how strong she was. He said that she was in the right place and that he "had our backs and we didn't have to worry." He was honest and spoke our nurse lingo which made us feel at ease. Edgar advocated for the PA to see us again and get more medicine for comfort. He was the best person in this situation, and we are happy to have met him.
You are so unbelievably lucky to have him as a nurse. We cannot thank him enough.
