Edie Headrick, RN, BSN, OCN

First, I want to say all the nurses in the chemo department center are angels. Edie Headrick is the one who stands out as an exceptional nurse. She is so compassionate and professional. Each time I come in she has my lab printout and sits down with me to go over all of my readings, good or bad. She asks how I am and if I have any concerns. She really listens! She went beyond what she needed to do when I mentioned my concerns about my ostomy. She looked at it and spoke with Dr. Y, who referred me to Dr. M who did the surgery. Also, there was a mishap in scheduling for my chemo treatment (in which I had to come back a day later due to the availability of the drugs). Edie apologized for the mishap. This lady is a keeper!
