I am a vendor and I was attending a very difficult case in the Cath Lab. The patient was experiencing a great deal of back pain from laying on the hard bed for so long . The procedure was 3.5 hours long. Ed did a fantastic job comforting the patient and talking with him to ease his pain and distract him from the procedure. He always shows a great deal of compassion, but I thought this case was extraordinary. Ed always behaves professionally in the procedures, while taking great care of these Vets. He always asks them about their service and takes a genuine interest in their story. I would be grateful if my veteran father were in this hospital and Ed was his nurse.
