I am honored to nominate Edwin for the DAISY Award. As his coworker, I have witnessed firsthand the extraordinary level of care, compassion, and professionalism he brings to every shift. The Emergency Room is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and Edwin consistently rises to the challenge with calm confidence and unwavering dedication. He is the kind of nurse who steps in without being asked, supports teammates without hesitation, and always puts patient safety and dignity first.

No matter how busy or stressful the shift becomes, Edwin treats every patient with patience, respect, and genuine empathy. Edwin is also a strong advocate for his patients. He communicates clearly, anticipates needs, and ensures that nothing is overlooked. His clinical skills are excellent, but what truly sets him apart is his heart.

He brings compassion into every interaction and sets a positive example for both new and experienced staff.
