She is a no-nonsense professional who goes by the rules. Despite my insistence on her not setting the chair or bed alarm because I am a fall risk, she calmly explained the reasons for the alarm being set. She assured me she understood how I felt and said, “It’s because I care about your safety.” Not once did she say, "It’s my job" or "I’ll get fired." She said that she cared, which I truly believed. One other day, I was experiencing an emotional meltdown, and Nurse Efi was there to calm me and offer words of encouragement. Thank you, Nurse Efi, for helping me get through the day.
